What is this all about

Can a simple object be more than a simple object?
The challenge was made! 7 stuffed toys should travel around the world, to prove they can be more than that.
Passing from traveller to traveller they should make their ways to new and exotic places...maybe they will arrive in China, maybe they will end in a garbage bin 1 km from the departure point.
We don't know...but that is the spirit of travelling.

A photo is sent back at this blog as a proof they were there. A competition is set in place to see who is the best stuffed animal.

Here is the story of the brazilian Scooby Doo of Ulisses.

Name: Dinho
Age: 23
Nationality: Brazilian
Background:
Some says that Dinho was born in Amazonia. One day he just decided to have a look out of the forest. He decided to swim until Europe. during the journey, he has met an agressive shark that wounded his left arm. Nevertheless Dinho won the fight and that's why he is now wearing as a collar, the shark's tooth. Then Dinho arrived in France where he has been living in Bourgogne in a small and clam village called Mont Saint Jean. Life was very comfortable in this lovely attic but one day he found in the attic's disorder a world map and thought it was time for him to know the rest of the world...

Mission post

RULES

  1. Competition starts August 1st and ends one year later. The story may keep on going if it works fine.
  2. The aim of this competition is to make an object travel worldwide as much as it can. Ultimate challenge for the competitors would be to go meet their object after one year or to world trip and meet all the people who get the object in their possession.
  3. Every participant chooses an item by himself. Something easy to carry is better. It should have a name and a short message explaining what should be done with it. The quality of this message might be very important.
  4. The items must only be carried by physical persons. Sending by post is strictly forbidden.
  5. Two objects should not do the same trip at the same time.
  6. Several rankings will be used to claim who is the winner:
    • Item which covered the more kilometers.
    • Item which went the furthest away from the starting point.
    • Item which has been to the biggest number of different locations.
    • Item which met the biggest number of people.
  7. Every time the object travel, a proof must be provided to testify the trip. A picture with the place and the carrier is the perfect evidence.
  8. The carrier must send to the object launcher a mail with photos and the owner will post the message with one photo on the blog.
  9. A blog is open at the address http://icantraveltoo.blogspot.com where everyone can follow the trips made by all the objects.
  10. To simplify, distances are calculated as crow flies.

This is the start of a great adventure...
