Road Trip to Croatia

In Antibes, I meet David and Clementine that were about to do a road trip to Croatia!
They are very nice and they were very happy to take me in their van!

To go to Croatia from Antibes we had to go througth Italy!

Our first Step was Sirmione. It is a nice place close to a big lake (with many mosquitos). There is a castle that you can visit there, and I enjoyed walking in the small old town.

As I was kind they invited me to the restaurant

It was the first time in a restaurant, so Clementine did explain menu what was in the menu. Since we were in Italy, I took a great PIZZA.

On our way to Croatia, we had to pass near Venise.

WONDERFUL. I took the boat, I went to San Marco place. It was kind of magic. If you can do it do not hesitate (and some places areeven better at night).

Here we are : CROATIA! We did visit a lot of places here is a sum up of this great advanture.

We were doing camping every days.

The first time it was in Moscenicka draga.
There I met some peluche friends (Minus Monkey and Minus Tigre)

The then take the road to visit some natural parks "Plitvice Lakes" and "Krka". The water is cristal clear and there are many waterfalls.

As there are many island in Croatia we decided to visit some.
We visited Krk Island, you can get there by car thanks to a Bridge.
But what was really fun was:
The Ferry boat to Bol Island.

In the south of Croatia we visited Drubrovnik.

On the road back to France, we stopped in an other nice natural park :

Paklenica. It is an even for people who like to climb on mountains.

This road trip was really nice qnd lqst for 2 weeks.
Thank you so much Clementine and David.

Splecial thanks to Clementine who teached me how to read...

Unexpected Visitor

Aparently our blog has been visited by an unexpected visitor: The U.S. Government!

Is it the FBI? CIA? We also have one visit from Tel Aviv (Mossad?).
Does one of our Stuffed Animals turned into a member of Al Qaeda?

You can check this and all other visitor information throught Sitemeter.

1st Trip: UK - In search of a Blessing

João was going soon to the UK.
I needed a queen's blessing before entering this exciting quest, so i took the ride.
Unfortunately the Queen was in Scotland, so i decided to get my blessing elsewhere: "the pagan gods of Stonehenge, should help me.", i thought. I called for help, got no answer. Damn Gods! Always Busy.

First contact

I met Joao right after i left the supermarket. No else was there, so i had no choice but to beg him for a ride. (Remember i was escaping from a supermarket store. You can't even imagine what the security guys do to toys that try to escape!)
I told him my dream about traveling, and he offered to help me out.
Cool Hein?

Arven: having a rock&roll of a start!

I have plenty of stuff to tell, but I'll try to be short. I joined my master in a roadtrip to Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia for 10 days. And on the way I met lots of people, it was awesome! Almost had a bath on the adriatic sea but it was too cold for me. Us rats we like it really warm. I heard it doesn't get any hotter than Iraq :-) Gotta find someone to take me there.
So here's the list of people I've met and places I've visited:

Petra&David in Ljubljana, Slovenia

With Ozujsko all the way around Croatia!

Nina in Zagreb, Croatia

Vlatka in Zagreb, Croatia (and Ozujsko :-))

Bojana in Zagreb, Croatia

Rita in Plitvicka Natural Park, Croatia

Zoljana in Zadar, Croatia

Josip and Petar in Split, Croatia

Nermin in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina

Enjoying the sunset in Dubrovnik, Croatia

Ana in Baska, island of Krk, Croatia

Ivana&Miguel in Pula, Croatia

After this amazing roadtrip I head to Lisbon, Portugal with Ana

Lilia in Lisbon, Portugal

Pica in Lisbon, Portugal

Sofia in Lisbon, Portugal

That's it for now! See you soon!

The Bimbo is still in Zaragoza - 19August 2008

Another short message from Zaragoza just to present you my new friend, Fluvi. Basically, he is transexual like me, but he is a bit harder in the way he wants to express it. He is not dressed like a woman because he prefered to be naked. Anyway, he is so nice, isn't it?

The Bimbo is in Zaragoza - 19 August 2008

I'm still alive !! I'm in Spain now and more precisely in Zaragoza.

As you can see on the picture, I had the chance to visit the Expo :) Emilio, a nice Italian guy, brought me with him in all the pavillons. He explained me how people can communicate thanks to water. He told me about architecture. It was so poetic moments.

Chihebichou in Fribourg (CH)

It took me time to do the first move because Chiheb is too possessive and perfectionist. He did not want to give me to anyone and it was hard for him to release me. Actually, I am still with him. But, at least now we are in Switzerland (chocolate is everywhere. It's better than mud :) ). The trip with the car was good. Once you cross the border it's amazing. The Leman lake is wonderful and it's unbelievable to see all these people respecting common life rules.

Now I hope Chiheb is going to let me fly away.

See you soon for more adventures.
Und viel vergnügen!

Thailand's connection

I met Thipphavanh after a trip of more or less 1 meter far from Boris' office. She told me she could help me to join Thailand in few days...

Chihebichou's frist traveller

My first Traveller

Chiheb is the one who freed me from my normal piggy life. Thanks to him I hope I will be able to go everywhere. In the background you can see the beach of Antibes where my trip starts. I am still there at the moment but Chiheb has to find the good person to send me on my first trip.

First "despedida"...

Boris is the person that gave me the opportunity to start my trip around the world.I think we have very similar personalities (and also the same smile!).It was really hard for me to say goodbye to him but who knows? One day maybe we will meet each other again...

Kick Off

It has begun: 1 world, 7 peluches, 7 adventures, thousand of possibilities!

The departure was set at the lovely city of Antibes, France. It is the only place where all these travellers will be together. They were accompanied by the first set of travellers they will follow
After that each one follows its own path.
Where will they go? Who will they meet? What will they experience?
For one year you can follow the stories of these adventurers here in the blog, and who knows, maybe you can even find them somewhere...

Name: Nono @ the Bimbo
Age: 19
Nationality: Inuit
Background: I was born in Anchorage, Alaska. As you can imagine, life was hard, cold and boring. That's why I didn't hesitate when a friend of mine asked me to go to India with him. I didn't know yet that this trip would completely modify my way of living. Actually, everything started when I met Hijras (हिजड़ा in Hindi). You probably don't know it but they are usually considered members of the "third sex", neither men nor women. Since I met them, I had a revelation and I realized that I should become transsexual. I decided then to start travelling around the world to distribute Love and to explain to people that they should not be shy of declaring their sexual identity.

Friends: Julie
Alvaro - Madrid, Spain
Emilio - Montello, Italy
Gabriele - Aosta, Italy
Francesco & Chiara - Aosta, Italy
Sandra & Andrea - Aosta, Italy
Maria & Michel - Aosta, Italy

Name: Mozart
Age: 30 Coconuts
Nationality: Austrian
Background: During the last 30 coconuts, I ve been studying music. Now I have understood that there is no place for little monkeys in music busyness, so I change my plans... now I want to discover the world.

Friends: David

Name: Kiwi
Age: 4
Nationality: French
Background: Nr. 20366 was just another toy in a supermarket shelf waiting to be sold. But one night, this duck was hit by an "awake call".
-Why should i be like the others? Just another toy. Why can't i do something with my life?
- I don't want to be a Number anymore, i want a name, i will be called...KIWI and i will travel the world or die trying to!

And like that he left the supermarket...

Friends: João, Anne, Claudia, Jenny&Rod, Sarah, Tom
