Episode III - Eich Bein Ein Berliner

I had a very exciting experience in Berlin and Postdam. I went with super Claudia on a bicycle ride through Berlin's city center. We cycled on the Berliner Mauerradweg a cycle track that follows the course of the former Berlin Wall.
We saw Potsdamer Platz and Sony Center (where everything was destroyed after the 2nd World War) and on our way to Brandenburg Gate we passed the Holocaust Memorial. Then we saw the Gate and the Reichstag (German Parliament House). Behind the Reichstag i took a rest on the place where the Berlin Wall was standing once.
We saw rests of the Wall and of course i had to had to climb it!!!

After all these historical places, Claudia decided to take me to the Philharmonie to listen to a very nice concert with Sir Simon Rattle as the maestro!

It was wonderful! Thank you Claudia for the free ride!

Portuguese Tour

Hey! I'm not having much time to tell about my life, which is good, I haven't stopped a bit yet. Still in Lisbon I took these two pics with Manel and Ana (there are a lot of Ana's in Portugal):

So, after Lisbon I headed south of Portugal to Portimão, Algarve. There I met with Mr.Carlos, Dona Rosa, Milita, Mariana e Glorita. Here are the pics :-)

Then Ana gave me to Pedro that took me to Leiria. And there I met Séfora, Telma and little Simão.

Then further north in Porto I took this picture with Miguel.

By the way, this is Pedro:

Meanwhile, this guy passed me on to another Ana and I am somewhere in Denmark but don't have enough time to talk about it now. Cheers!

Episode II - Munich, An Hearty Start

After Joao brought me back from rainy England I was stuck in France again... or so I thought! As a traveling toy all I want to do is travel of course, but as I soon learned (and as Anne, taught me) life is not only about fun and hanging around! I also have a mission: TO EDUCATE THE WORLD ABOUT THE HEARTY NEEDS OF A TRAVEL TOY! My first real mission and the first business trip came up and of course this mission couldn't be accomplished in France. As a hard-working Kiwi I had to find a more adequate country to do this - and Munich in the heart of Bavaria seemed to serve the purpose for that, especially as I could find thousands of world's experts there during that time. Anne was happy to accompany me of course, as coincidentally she had business to do herself.

As expected in Munich I hardly had any time to go around and take a look at the city. What I saw mainly was the Congress Centre and the hotel... what a busy place! After a hard work day and all those people around, in the evenings I was usually happy to go to sleep and not do much else. I tell you - it is not easy being a traveler and an ambassador for travel toys and their needs at the same time!

Anyways, I enjoyed my time there but am happy that Anne took me back to France and didn't leave me with the Bavarians... Back in France I was introduced to some fellow travelers and all I have to say is that after all the Grüß Gott in Munich I am now ready for some ICK BIN EIN BERLINER! Looking forward to greeting you from there. May the fun life begin again!

Your travel Kiwi!

¡¡¡Ecuador!!!

Yeah!!! I finally got out of Switzerland. I was handed to Christoph who let Chiheb surf his couch for few nights before kicking him out to prepare his trip. At least, Chiheb and Christoph became famous with their appearance on french Swiss news, promoting couch surfing. From Christoph apartment there is a great view on Fribourg's cathedral.

After long hours packed in Christoph's bag, I could finally discover Ecuador a bit. Christoph is wonderful guy. A kind of poet in our troubled world. He loves jazz and plays saxophone. As a reference to Fribourg we went to Quito's cathedral.

Christoph was quite busy promoting swiss chocolate in the country and had some troubles to catch a bus so he could only take a picture of me in the taxi afterwards :(. No doubt I will discover more of this wonderful latino country later.
